13 September 2025 – Welcome to the website of the HVOF Colloquium 2026, one of the world's largest specialist events for high-velocity oxygen fuel spraying and related processes. There is still a good year to go before the 13th edition of this event series, but the initial preparations are already in progress behind the scenes. We will keep you up to date here with all the latest news about the colloquium, as well as topics, speakers, and exhibitors. We expect to have the first details and open registration at the beginning of 2026.
Until then, we invite you to take a look back at the HVOF Colloquium 2023. Directly below on this page, you will find a link to a video review of this previous colloquium. Under the menu item Service, you will also find press reports and a table of contents of the proceedings dating back to the 3rd HVOF Colloquium in 1994.

Erding (GER), October 2023. With 21 presentations, 21 exhibitors and over 220 participants, the 12th HVOF Colloquium 2023 successfully continued the series of HVOF Colloquia after a 5-year break. As co-organisers together with Linde GmbH, we would like to thank all those who followed our invitation to Erding and thus contributed to the success of the event.
The contributions to the HVOF Colloquium 2023 presented numerous new developments and applications and also gave an outlook on the future of this technology. Therefore, in addition to the main topics of optimised control systems, thin films, additive manufacturing and automation, the influence and opportunities of AI in thermal spraying were also highlighted. Other topics were suspension spraying, laser spraying, cold gas spraying, HVAF and trends in materials and hardware.
The evening lecture by weather presenter and author Sven Plöger on the consequences of global warming and our part in it gave food for thought.
The development potential of HVOF technology remains high. The next HVOF colloquium will therefore take place at the usual 3-year interval. We will keep you informed on this page. Visit us regularly at hvof.gts-ev.de.
